Yasmien Kurdi faints on the sets of Pasan ko ang Daigdig this October 15, 2007 bcause of oveestress. She suddenly faint on the set while she is waiting to shoot her scene. The taping is held in PETA Theater sa Quezon City. Shes been rush to the near hospital at St. Luke’s Medical Center. The Doctor said that she is experiencing “Essential or primary hypertension” and she is been asking to back in the hospital for follow up check up.

Kinakitaan ng excitement ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Dingdong Dantes sa first time niyang pagrampa sa Cosmo Bachelor Bash na gagawin sa NBC Tent sa Huwebes, September 6.

Ang young actor ang cover ng supplement ng September 2007 issue ng Cosmopolitan at siguradong siya ang aabangan ng majority ng pupunta sa nasabing okasyon.

Sa panayam ng PEP kay Dingdong sa set ng Marimar sa Punta de Uian, San Antonio, Zambales, kahapon, September 3, hindi nito maitago ang kanyang tuwa.

Isa sa mga inalam nito ay kung anong crowd ang usually nanonood sa mga ganitong tipo ng palabas. Ang ganda ng ngiti ni Dingdong sa birong lalake, babae, bading, yuppies, matrona, bata, at matanda ang asahan niyang makakakita ng kanyang four-pack abs.

Ayon sa ilang eyewitness, hubo’t hubad daw talaga si Dingdong sa kanyang pictorial at plaster lang daw ang nakatakip sa maselang bahagi ng katawan ng young actor.

Paano nga ba siya nakumbinsing mag-pictorial ng ganun ka-sexy at daring? Ano ang ginawa niyang paghahanda?

“Naimbitahan ako at umokey ang schedule ko, so why not? Ang alam ko, si Richard [Gutierrez] ay nag-cover na rin sa supplement. Hindi lang naman ako ang Kapuso stars na rarampa, makakasama ko sina Alfred Vargas at Paolo Paraiso. Thankful ako sa Marimar at sa role kong si Sergio dahil naimbitahan ako dahil doon,” sabi ni Dingdong.

“Paano ko pinaghandaan? Workout at ingat sa pagkain. Ang hirap lang i-maintain para huwag akong tumaba uli. Nilagang itlog at kamote ang lagi kong kinakain. Lagi akong may baong kamote,” dagdag na kuwento ni Dingdong. Saksi ang PEP na nilagang itlog ang merienda niya habang ang mga kasama niya sa Marimar ay turon, banana cue, at camote cue ang kinain.

Mula nang pumayat, iniwasan na raw ni Dingdong na kumain ng beef at pork. Fish na ang favorite viand niya ngayon at tumigil na rin siya sa pag-inom ng alak na hilig daw niya noon. Late this month naka-schedule mag-shooting si Marvin, na pang-sixth replacement na sa nasabing role na makakalaban ni Richard Gutierrez.

Bago napunta ang role kay Marvin ay dumaan muna ito kina Dennis Trillo, Jericho Rosales, Dingdong Dantes, Diether Ocampo, at Ryan. Sari-saring rason kung bakit hindi natuloy ang mga nabanggit, pero karamihan sa kanila ay dahil sa conflict of schedule.

Bago pa man i-offer kay Ryan ang role na Thomas, nagpakita na ng interes si Marvin na mapasama sa project ni Direk Chito Roño para sa GMA Films. Ngayong sa kanya na ito natuloy, siguradong tuwang-tuwa ang aktor.

Horror movie ang Dagaw na salitang Waray para sa anino. Hindi na bago sa ganitong genre si Marvin dahil ilang horror movies na ang ginawa niya sa OctoArts Films. Isa na rito ang suspense-horror film Kutob (2005) kung saan nanalo siya bilang Best Actor noong 2005 Metro Manila Film Fest.

First movie ito ni Marvin sa GMA Films at hindi siya mahihirapan sa kanyang schedule dahil nag-sign na siya ng exclusive contract sa GMA Artist Center. Nabanggit ng aktor sa isang TV interview na gagawa siya ng movie sa Unitel at Regal Entertainment, pero ang Dagaw ang kanyang uunahin dahil paalis si Direk Chito para sa shooting ng movie niya na London Caregiver ng Star Cinema na pagbibidahan ni Sharon Cuneta. - Philippine Entertainment Portal

Veteran comedian and “Eat Bulaga!” host Joey de Leon reacted to the apology offered by “Wowowee” host Willie Revillame.

“Nag-explain na ba? Hindi naman ako importante d’on eh. Ang importante ‘yong explain. Explain before we action,” he said in an interview with GMA News on Tuesday.

He added: “Sa akin wala, wala akong problema d’yan.”

De Leon gestured a V-sign with both hands, followed by an OK sign. However, he did not give a categorical explanation on his gestures.

“O, baka sabihin n’yo na naman dapat ganon di ba hindi ganyan dapat ganon. Wala asar talaga ako eh, wala kang magagawa eh,” he said.

Meanwhile, Revillame on Tuesday devoted part of his show to explain the supposed glitch that happened in Wowowee’s Wilyonaryo game segment. He also asked apology from De Leon .

“Joey de Leon, Joey de Leon, kaibigan, pare, from my heart I’m so sorry kung nasaktan kita pero tandaan mo idol pa rin kita,” he said on “Wowowee”.

Meryll Soriano is overwhelmed by the birth of her son Elijah last Monday, August 27. The actress described her reaction upon seeing Elijah for the first time.

“Narinig ko na yung uha. Nakita ko na siya, tarantang-taranta na ako kasi lumabas na tapos dinala siya sa akin. Hindi ko alam kung hahawakan ko ba, hindi ko alam ang gagawin. Tapos totoo nga ang sinasabi nila na lahat ng pagod mo mawawala, instant,” the new mom narrated.

It was actually a double blessing for Meryll because aside from having Elijah, she has also reconciled with her parents, specifically her mom Bec-Bec Soriano, sister of Diamond Star Marciel Soriano. Meryll and her mother had a gap after the actress married Bernard Palanca, but the marriage only lasted for four months.

In a taped interview with Entertainment Live yesterday, September 1, Meryll apologized to her mom. In tear, she said, “Humingi ako ng tawad… Humingi ako ng tawad, sinabi ko na nagkamali talaga ako. Young actress Anne Curtis and her family are now in grief after her four-month-old baby sister, Clare, died last August 28 due to viral infection that severely affected the baby’s heart. Clare was confined at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Philippine Heart Center.

Understandably, Anne had to cancel all her showbiz commitments because of her sister’s early demise.

As a way of saying goodbye, Anne prepared a poem for her baby sister, who was buried yesterday, September 1, at the Magalang Memorial Park in Pampanga.
