Marianeth Amper 11 years old from Davao City, Philippines. She is the daughter of a local carpenter, left behind a letter and diary where she asked God to help her parents make ends meet. She also said she could not go to school because she always lacked money for transportation and food. All this reason drove her to kill herself and it probe that poverty-triggered suicide.

At this age children that age may not understand the concept of death. They just know they suddenly feel sad. If you sum it up suicide also rooted from poverty. This is one of the biggest problem around the world. In Africa poverty is the main problem and most of the people there died because of poverty. In this case the government or politician should be blame for negligence. Even financial stress comes rather low in the list it can also create main problem.

According to the latest data available from the World Health Organization, the suicide rates per hundred thousand population for these countries are 2.5 for males and 1.7 for females in the Philippines (1993)! It proves that that Pinoys is the happiest people on earth!. It means that are suicide rate is lower than the other country but what if the incident may wake up all of us that the suicide rate in our country getting higher because of poverty. I think its time our government and politician to take action before its too late.
